The first and probably most important finding we should mention in our Essayshark.com review is that this is a bidding company. What does this mean? It means that EssayShark has no fixed prices and they don’t assign writers to your papers. You tell the company what you need and get bids.
Then, it’s your job to go through them, pick a writer and with it, a price. Some see this as a blessing, while others see it as a waste of time. What we have learned is that, with this type of services, it all comes down to how well they handle and employ their writers. Let’s see how this works for EssayShark.
This part is one of the benefits of the system – their list is unlimited. EssayShark.com has bothered to create a list just to give you an idea of what you can order. But, if you don’t find what you want there, you can always ask them to do your paper in the order form.
So far, we haven’t seen any EssayShark reviews from customers who haven’t received bids on their orders. The service has a solid number of writers, so you can probably expect to get several bids for any paper you order. For this EssayShark review, we did our own ordering and checked how many bids we’ll get. For a complicated research paper, we got over 15 bids in a little over half an hour.
This is either impressive or really concerning. Keep reading the Essay Shark review to find out.
Prices and Discounts
Essay Shark is a company without prices. We can’t tell you what an essay would cost you without making a wild guess. To our order, we received plenty of bids that started at a funnily small quote and ended with a drastically high one. Even so, most of them were really low, which confirms what all those EssayShark reviews say about the company – it is really cheap.
Being able to choose a price on your own will sound enticing at first, but it can be very challenging. It took us a very long time to choose the person who’ll do our research paper since, as many complain about in their Essay Shark reviews, writers here seem to bid on just about anything to get a gig. We got bids from people who weren’t even close to being qualified in the field that the research paper explored. These were the first to eliminate.
Finally, we chose the writer with a really good price and really fitting credentials. It didn’t matter that the company has no discounts because this price is hard to find anywhere else – less than $10 per page. We thought that we did an excellent job since it takes a lot of time to choose a writer. But, the results were far from what we had expected.
This is the part when everything went wrong. The writer that we chose did nothing as we expected him. He missed the deadline, which is horrible for a student with a deadline. We never got refunded for this grand mistake.
Next, we found plagiarism and a lot of it in the paper. The support didn’t even grant a free revision to fix this, so half the paper was basically worthless.
As a matter of fact, when you count in the really bad quality and the poor English writing skills of a writer who was definitely not who he claimed to be, the entire paper belonged in the trash. We don’t see anyone using this paper at school.
The Essay Shark support was entirely incompetent. They responded to our queries after a bit of waiting, which was okay. Many companies have big queues so it takes them time to respond.
But, the response we received was definitely not what you’d expect. The agent wasn’t just unhelpful – she was extremely impolite and rude. To our claim that the paper was plagiarized (backed with a detailed scan from a plagiarism tool), she said that she checked it and ‘it was okay’. When we asked for a refund because of the delay, she said that the paper was just slightly delayed, so they don’t grant a refund. She even rejected our revision request despite the ridiculous quality in a really rude and unprofessional way.
Do we recommend EssayShark.com?
We most definitely don’t recommend this company. It is brilliant at first but, when you order, it’s disastrous in every possible way. They have a system that yields really cheap prices, but hire terrible writers and don’t care if things go badly for their customers.
